# The Next Layer of Coordination

Governments were created to meet the needs of the people.

When they couldn’t scale, corporations emerged—systems for organizing capital, labor, and coordination at a new level.

They built roads, and traded grain.

Different brands of corporations have come and gone. But, now we are at the next transition.

AI and robotics are the next layer of coordination—a system that operates faster, more locally, and more personally than either governments or corporations.

## How do we know people's needs aren't being met?

War is the manifestation of breakdowns in coordination.

It is the boiled up, single point of collective expression for unresolved needs between groups. There's nowhere for the dissatisfied group's energies to go except outward as war.

First, though, it fractures inwards—violence, instability, and misalignment within the society itself.

We see mass shootings.

## So what comes next?

A world where intelligence is no longer centralized in governments or corporations, but distributed—owned, operated, and acted upon by individuals.

Governments may remain only as symbols, as figureheads—like the British queen.

In this world, interaction itself becomes the primitive.

**Dialogues** builds the systems of interaction for this future.

**Topos** gives individuals their own node of intelligence—a place where their data, their models, and their agency live.

Together, they form the coordination layer for a new kind of society.
